Primary MissionsEdit

Story line can't be finished on easy difficulty. Only 1-3 missions will be available.(Full storyline is available in easy as of Patch 2.00)

Tera Mission LineEdit

Tera 1Edit

Investigate the location provided by TARA.

  • An Evac device is present at this mission location.
  • Search the bodies of the scientists to complete.
  • Just search the middle scientist body.

Mission Reward: 50 Experience

Tera 2Edit

The Players must head to the location provided by TARA and unlock the door.

  • A safety beacon is present at this mission location.
  • A Player must interact with the door console to open the door.
  • OPTIONAL: Players may interact with the Turret Control in order to activate the two turrets. The interaction takes 10 to 15 seconds.
  • A Player must complete the interaction with the inner console. The interaction takes 30 seconds.

Mission Reward: 60 Experience

Tera 3Edit

TARA alerts the players of a faint life sign.

  • After arriving, wait until TARA talks about a piece of active data equipment.
  • Interact with the PDA to complete.

Mission Reward: 70 Experience

  • Tera 4 will occur instead of Evacuation at Wave 15.

Tera 4Edit

At Wave 15, Tyler Hunt's location is discovered.

Tyler Hunt is a special NPC Follower with a Minigun.

  • Players must head towards Tyler Hunt
  • Tyler Hunt must be defended for two minutes.
  • Tyler Hunt must survive from this point onward, otherwise, the mission will end in failure.
  • Someone must take him as a Follower and head towards the Control Device.
  • Evacuation will then be available.

Mission Reward: 1200 Experience

Insurgents Mission LineEdit

The Insurgents Missions pit the players against insurgent marines in some instances.

Insurgents 1Edit

Investigate the location provided by TARA. Be cautious of hostile marines.

  • Take out the three Insurgent Scouts
  • An Evac device is present at this mission location (explosions will destroy this item)
  • Interact with the Communications Device to complete.

Mission Reward: 60 Experience

Insurgents 2Edit

TARA has located 3 related insurgent groups.

Group 1Edit
  • Kill the two Insurgent Scouts and the Insurgent Soldier.
  • A safety beacon is present at this mission location.
  • Interact with the Communications Device to complete.
Group 2Edit
  • Kill the one Insurgent Scout and the Two Insurgent Soldiers.
  • Interact with the Communications Device to complete.
Group 3Edit
  • Kill the two Insurgent Soldiers and the Insurgent Commander
  • Interact with the Communications Device to complete.

Mission Reward: 100 Experience

Insurgents 3Edit

  • Rescue Tyler Hunt from the Insurgent forces and Nyx.
  • Head to the Phobos Console.
  • Upload the data to the Phobos Console.
  • Evacuation will then be available.
  • Killing Nyx sets off a nuke. Be ready to run or terminator group shield
  • Killing Nyx offers 647 additional experience

Wave activated MissionsEdit

Early EvacuationEdit

Requirements:

  • Tera 1 and Insurgents 1 has not been completed.

At Wave 8, the Evacuation mission will occur. For Fast Mode, the evacuation mission will occur on Wave 11.

SHIVAEdit

A Tac-Nuke Shiva will become available at the mission location. Requirements:

  • Must be wave 9 or later.
  • Will always occur, regardless of options.

Mission Reward: 1 Tac-Nuke Shiva

ReinforcementsEdit

Requirements:

  • At least 1 player is dead.
  • Must be wave 9 or later.
  • Will always occur, regardless of options.

To Complete:

  • A player must activate the spotlight terminal.
  • Players must not leave the vicinity of the Spotlight terminal for two minutes.

Mission Reward: Dead players are revived.

Fluffy HuntEdit

Requirements;

  • Difficulty must be at least Normal.
  • A player must activate the HAL 9K before Wave 2 starts.
  • HAL 9K is located in the central building above the Science Facility.

Secondary MissionsEdit

Holer NestEdit

Success:

Players gain 2 or 4 damage.

Failure:

No failure conditions
Holers will periodically spawn until the eggs are destroyed.

Snatcher NestEdit

Success:

Players gain 2 or 4 damage.

Failure:

No failure conditions
Snatchers will periodically spawn until the eggs are destroyed

Disarm EMPEdit

This mission has a time limit.

Success:

Sector lighting remains undisrupted
20 Experience
If the EMP is disarmed via the Demolition skill or Disarm Tools item, 3 Power Cells will be gained.

Failure:

Localized Sector lighting is turned off.

Disarm NukeEdit

This mission has a time limit.

Success:

Sector lighting remains undisrupted
20 Experience
If an explosive sets of the Shiva, Sector lighting will be disrupted and all nearby objects and entities will be destroyed.
If a demolition uses disarm on the Shiva, the players will receive a Tac-Nuke Shiva, the same Shiva received in the SHIVA mission.

Failure:

Localized Sector lighting is turned off.
A large explosion will destroy nearby objects and entities.

Reactor OverheatEdit

This mission has a time limit.

Success:

Global lighting remains undisrupted.
Players energy level increases by 1 (it provides 100 energy).
20 Experience

Failure:

Global lighting is disrupted.

HatchlingEdit

A powerful enemy will be directed towards the players.

The Hatchling varies based upon difficulty:

Easy: Holer
Normal: Slasher
Hard: Hatchling?
Nightmare: Hellspawn

Success:

If the second Hatchling is killed, players receive +2 weapon damage and 20 Experience.
If the second Hatchling is captured, ????
  • 65 Experience
  • +6 Damage

Failure:

No penalties

Swarm TunnelsEdit

No time limit on the mission.

A swarm tunnel will appear on the map that must be closed via Seismic Resonator.

Success:

Swarm Tunnels cease production of additional enemies.

Failure:

No failure conditions
The swarm tunnel will continue producing additional enemies.

AssaultEdit

This mission has a time limit.

Insurgent Forces appear at a specific location. The players' goal is to kill the Insurgent Commander. Insurgent forces will persist even after the Commander's death.

Success:

The Insurgent Commander will drop 6 Power Cells, for use at the players discretion.

Failure:

The Assault force leaves the building.

Artillery ControlEdit

Success:

The artillery barrages cease.
The players receive an Artillery Targeting Device that has 10 charges and calls in a powerful Artillery Barrage at the targeted location.

Failure:

No failure conditions
The artillery building will be occupied by Insurgent Marines.
While left unfinished, players will have an artillery barrage directed upon them every minute.

Optional MissionsEdit

STROL Substance S&DEdit

  • Destroy all 20 STROL substances
  • Each STROL substance destroyed globally reduces enemy maximum health by 0.5%.

Reward:

  • 20% Reduced enemy health
  • 150 Experience

Marine SamplingEdit

  • Find and sample all 10 Marine bodies.
  • Each Marine body globally increases the maximum health of players by 5.

Reward:

  • 100 Experience
  • 15+ maximum health

Veteran Soldier SamplingEdit

  • Find and sample all 4 Veteran Soldier bodies.
  • Each Veteran Marine body globally provides 30 experience.
  • The player who inspects the Veteran Marine Body gains 30 energy as well.
  • Veteran Soldier bodies can contain items:
Safety Beacon
Disarm Tools

Reward:

  • None for completion.

Satellite ActivationEdit

  • Find and activate all 3 Satellites.
  • Satellite provides detection in 100 meters around itself
  • Each Satellite boosts T3 Sensor system detection radius by 10 meters.
  • Each Satellite boosts the signal strength of Safety Zones by 20 points.
  • 35 Experience per Satellite activated

Reward:

  • No reward.

Sentry Turret ActivationEdit

  • Activate 20 Sentry Turrets

Reward:

  • All Turrets in the Sector will become active
  • 150 Experience

EvacuationEdit

Effectively, the only Victory condition available.

  • Reach the APC or Dropship in time
  • For the APC Evacuation, all players must be within 10 meters of the marker.
  • For the Dropship Evacuation, players must go directly onto the marker in order to enter the dropship.
  • Upon reaching around 30 to 40 meters of the Dropship, 3 to 4 Hellspawns will unburrow 100 meters away from the Dropship and start to close in, but they do not need to be killed.
  • May require a VIP to be protected.

Reward:

  • Varying EXP


Eye of the Storm Edit

Players will be trying to restart failed reactors and bring back colony shields while running in the dark. Remember that box of road flares you threw away? Well, sh*t happens...

Enemy at the Gates Edit

Teaches players a valuable lesson, that the enemy at the gates is much better then the enemy rushing through the wide open gates.

Colony Defense System Edit

Makes the marines deal with a case of hacked turrets. Sometimes it's worth finding the person responsible and undoing the damage they have done. Sometimes it might be preferable just to clean the mess up with some explosives.

Overgrowth Edit

There are many enemies in The Red Solstice. Good thing is that they can't multiply on their own. Until now. "Kill it before it lays eggs" is no longer a valid option. Can you contain the infestation from spreading before you face overgrowth?
